Friday, 28 September:

Boat trip to Greenwich plus Yeoman guided tour of the Old Royal Naval College, free time in the Maritime museum, and Leiths lunch plus tea/coffee – an absolute snip at £40.00 all inclusive.

 

||| GREENWICH EXCURSION FULLY BOOKED |||

9.30am (approx tbc) Meet at Westminster Pier (Victoria Embankment, London SW1A 2JH, by Westminster tube station on District and Circle lines)

9.45am (approx, tbc) Boat from Westminster Pier to Greenwich

11.15am Greeting at Greenwich Pier by representative from Old Royal Naval College who will guide group to the College (short walk). Tea and coffee will be served in theUndercroft followed by a private guided tour.

12.30pm Two course Leiths lunch at the Old Royal Naval College (included in excursion price)

1.30-3pm Free time to explore Greenwich and the National Maritime Museum (free admission) before taking a boat back to Westminster Pier

4.30pm (approx tbc) Arrival back at Westminster Pier

Sunday, 30 September:

Either of the following tours at the Museum of London followed by cream tea:

 

Tour 1:

Roman London –  discover life in Londinium, the city beneath your feet – £17

Tour 2:

Dressed to Impress – get to know what you would wear in the 18th and 19th centuries when attending a ball at the Mansion House or taking a stroll in the Pleasure Gardens – £17

 

Make own way to Museum of London following close of Conference at 2.20pm to arrive by 3pm (4 stops on Central line from Oxford Circus to St Pauls)

3.00pm Meet at Museum of London (150 London Wall, London EC2Y 5HN)

3.15pm Choice of private alternative tours:

•  Tour 1 Roman London –  discover life in Londinium, the city beneath your feet

•  Tour 2 Dressed to Impress – get to know what you would wear in the 18th and 19th centuries when attending a ball at the Mansion House or taking a stroll in the Pleasure Gardens

4.00pm (approx) – 4.45pm Free time to explore the galleries of the Museum of London.

4.45pm Museum of London cream tea (included in the excursion price)

5.30pm (approx) Conclude
